No, you do not need a prescription. The physicians on the SpotCare platform will write a prescription if they deem it safe and appropriate after your online visit.
Yes! All medication requests in SpotCare are assessed and verified by a licensed Canadian pharmacist within your community. The medications also come from your local pharmacy so the process is the exact same, it’s just online. And of course, all prescriptions obtained through SpotCare are provided by licensed Canadian physicians.
Yes! All prescriptions obtained through SpotCare are provided by licensed Canadian physicians and all medications are supplied by licensed Canadian pharmacies located within your community. SpotCare partner pharmacies and physicians adhere to all requirements and legislation from their respective college bodies. We just happen to connect the dots and make it much more convenient for you.
All adults over the age of 18 (16 years of age for birth control prescriptions) can use SpotCare. We are currently only serving those Canadians living in British Columbia, however we will be in the rest of Canada very soon. 🇨🇦
SpotCare is a compliment to – not a replacement – of your primary care provider. It is important to inform the primary care team regarding any treatment you receive from SpotCare. Our physician team is here for you when you cannot see your regular provider, or you would like a lifestyle medication.
Yes. If you use SpotCare, our local pharmacy partners will deliver your medication to you, free of charge. We also provide you with a convenient way to communicate with your SpotCare pharmacy team. You can choose your own pharmacy, but know they may be more expensive and are unable to provide the same services as SpotCare partner pharmacies.
